Our philosophy

The needs and the solutions

A need for enhanced facilitation has been identified by those working in the field. There needs to be coordination in order to facilitate development outcomes in remote area communities involving the government sector, non-government organisations, funding bodies and suppliers of technology and expertise.

Sustainable energy can meet a range of development objectives in Indonesia’s Papuan provinces. Papua Development Projects is filling the development gap by facilitating cheap, reliable, renewable energy supplies for remote areas. Through a process of identifying and coordinating sources of funding, community participation and socialisation, procurement and shipping of equipment, training, installation and maintenance of equipment needed for projects in health and education service delivery, the horizons broaden - beyond basic health, literacy and numeracy standards comes the need for technical skills and language training, leading to greater participation in employment.
